WEN SMITH is the author of I Want it All and Broken into Beautiful and co-author of Trusting God and Knowing God by Name. She’s also one of three co-founders of the conference and devotional ministry Girlfriends in God which reaches hundreds of thousands of women across the world each weekday to encourage and equip them on their spiritual journey with Christ.
Gwen speaks, leads worship and performs concerts for thousands of people annually at Christian women’s events, and has shared the ministry platform with lots of amazing people over the years. Her popular GRACEOLOGIE with Gwen Smith podcast has more than a million downloads, first aired in June 2018 and is now in season 4. The show has fun, faith-focused, grace-filled, interview-style conversations with practical tips and honest discussions to encourage women in meaningful ways to live out and lean on the grace of Jesus in the midst of cluttered, messy days. Additionally, she also does 1-on-1 personal coaching for Christian women who want to grow professionally and spiritually.
Gwen has written and co-produced 6 full-length CDs and 2 EPs (both worship and Christian contemporary songs) and was a staff songwriter and worship artist for Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing from 2008-2011. She’s also done freelance songwriting for LifeWay and Lillenas Publishing, and now occasionally writes for Grace Girl Music, in collaboration with Sunday Best Music out of Nashville, Tennessee.
Her testimony, stories and songs have been shared online, in her books, and on many radio, podcast and TV shows, including Life Today with James and Betty Robison and The 700 Club.
She and her husband, Brad, live in North Carolina where they have three young-adult children who keep them on their toes and on their knees. Her passion is to help women know and trust God more, and she encourages her community at GwenSmith.net and on social media channels @GwenSmithMusic.
